School District has secured positions for 27 of the 37 certified teachers in
the district's planned reduction in force after a 2023-24 budget process that
included over $5 million in cuts. Superintendent John Anzalone said the process
was respectful and collaborative, working with each principal and teacher to
find homes for people aligned with their skill sets. However, the district
still has 10 certificated staff members impacted by the budget cuts and RIF
process going into the 2023-24 school year. The district's board members agreed
